The Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response (OEPR) is able to provide a variety of non-emergency assistance, to include All-Hazards Training (including hurricane preparedness), Active Shooter Training, and Continuity of Operations planning assistance to the Tulane community. If you have any questions regarding the following trainings, please email emergencyprep@tulane.edu.

The City of New Orleans also offers a variety of community trainings available in-person, including Stop the Bleed, Opioid Overdose Prevention, and Hands-Only CPR. To request a training from our city partners, fill out the online request form on the NOLA Ready website.

There are also Emergency Management Institute (EMI) trainings available online through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). If you are interested in emergency management, check out these courses on the FEMA website.
