In the event of an emergency or impending threat, Tulane will send critical voice, email and text messages to our students, faculty and staff at an on-file telephone numbers and e-mail addresses. If you have downloaded the Everbridge app, you will also receive a notification from the app.
Update Your Contact Information:
Students, faculty and staff are automatically enrolled as a recipient of TU Alerts through Everbridge. To ensure you receive our TU Alerts, please update your contact information using the below steps.
Alerts for Students
Students should update their information by logging on to Gibson and clicking on the Update Address, Phone & Email tab to ensure all information is correct.
Students, faculty and staff are also encouraged to download the free Everbridge mobile app in order to receive emergency push alerts. When logging on please use your Tulane login information. To download the Everbridge app for iPhone click here and for Android, click here.
Alerts for Employees
Staff & Faculty should update their contact information by logging onto Gibson, clicking on the Employee Self-Service tab, then the Tulane Employee Self-Service tab, and then proceeding to the Personal Information tab to ensure all information is correct.
NOTE: This information will be used only in an emergency to send official university communications. To ensure that Tulane has accurate and current contact information on-file, students, faculty and staff should update their information through Gibson annually (or upon any information change).
