Jarrod Sullivan

Biography

Jarrod Sullivan joined the Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response in January of 2024. In his role he is responsible for providing executive level leadership and serving as a liaison to University senior administrators.

Prior to joining the Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response, Jarrod served with the Tulane University Police Department for 25 years.  While with TUPD Jarrod served at all levels and was ultimately responsible for providing executive level leadership as the Deputy Chief of Support Services and briefly as the interim Chief of Police.  Jarrod is an experienced manager and organizational leader have served as the senior member of TUPD on the University Emergency Operations Center and was a key component of the downtown recovery from Hurricane Katrina.

Jarrod is a graduate of Tulane University holding a Bachelors of Science in Psychology.  He is a graduate of the Harbor Police Academy and received advanced leadership training from the Southern Police Institute Command Officers Development Course.
