Emergency Communications is a critical element of OEPR's role at Tulane University. Our goal is to communicate any emergency incident or situation to the Tulane community as quickly as possible. We do this by sending TU Alerts through our emergency mass notification system, Everbridge. Students, faculty, and staff are automatically enrolled to receive alerts during their onboarding process at the university, however, it is critical that all contact information is checked and updated annually (or upon any information changes) in Gibson. OEPR also recommends downloading the freely available Everbridge mobile app as it has several campus safety features. OEPR also recommends the use of the AlertUs notification system for your Mac or Windows computer.
