Merrilee Montgomery

Merrilee joined the Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response in June 2022 as Student Worker directly assisting the Emergency Preparedness and Response and Business Continuity Managers.

Merrilee is a senior studying Homeland Security, International Relations, and Computer Science with a minor in Arabic. Merrilee previously worked for a municipal disaster recovery office, assisting with applications for home repair grants in the wake of extreme weather. Merrilee is currently a Fellow with Louisiana Progress Action, a nonpartisan political advocacy group. During the school year, Merrilee assists with mapping research through the Computer Science Department.
